Who we are

We are here to support you

Greater Manchester Victims’ Services is delivered by Catch22, an independent charity and funded by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

What matters most:

  • We are independent from the police and our role is to support you – not investigate.
  • You are in control of what you share and what happens next.
  • You do not have to report to the police to access our support.

Whatever you choose – whether to report, not report, or take time to decide – you can still access our free, private support. We will respect your choices and move at a pace that feels right for you.

If you want to report a crime, you can contact Greater Manchester Police by calling 101 or visiting their website. In an emergency, always call 999.

If you would prefer to report anonymously, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

If you wish to make a complaint about Greater Manchester Police, you can do so through their complaints process.

We can support you with:

  • Emotional support to help you cope and make sense of what has happened
  • Clear information and guidance
  • Speaking on your behalf with police, housing providers or other services, if you would like us to

If you choose to meet in person, we can meet you somewhere that feels safe and comfortable – at your home, at one of our local branches, or at an outreach location near you.

Throughout your time with us, your safety and choices will be at the centre of everything we do.
